About

Wei Li is a third year PhD Candidate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) co-advised by Prof. Shawn Blanton and Prof. Jose Moura. Prior to joining CMU, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) for his MPhil title under the supervision of Prof. Bei Yu. He received his bachelor degree in ELITE stream, CSE department from Chung Chi College, CUHK in Nov, 2018.

During his short research career, he was luckily collaborated with Prof. Michael R. Lyu (CUHK), Prof. Yuqun Zhang (SUSTech), Prof. Lingming Zhang (UIUC), Prof. Yibo Lin (PKU), and Prof. David Z. Pan (UT Austin)(in chronological order). With the guidance of these distinguished scholars, he has received three best-paper awards from the software engineering field (ISSTA, 2019), the Artificial Intelligence field (ICTAI, 2019), and the Electronics Design Automation field (ASP-DAC, 2021). He was also the recipient of Apple fellowship in Integrated Systems in 2022.
